Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy with MVP is a different experience than the traditional model. Without having to worry about insurance, we can truly focus on what's important to you, your body, and your goals. Starting with a comprehensive movement evaluation, we can target all the areas that need treatment. From there, we will apply a hands-on approach that can include spinal or joint mobilizations, dry needling, and soft tissue work. We then work into exercises catered to your goals. We also want to look to the future and plan how exercise and self-care can make sure you're not just living, but thriving.

Spinal Mobilization
We use safe and effective spinal mobilization techniques to calm pain along the spine or help improve spinal mobility to make movement more effective.

Joint Mobilization
Joint restrictions make certain movements challenging and can lead to compensations that keep clients from improving. Treating them with joint mobilizations help improve mobility to allow for greater and less painful movement patterns.

Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique using very thin and flexible needles to alleviate acute and chronic muscle tightness. The needles are inserted directly into the muscles to help calm down trigger points. This technique allows us to treat some of the deep spots that don't respond to stretching alone.

Instrumented Soft Tissue Work
Using different types of massage tools, this technique helps to loosen muscles, tendons, and fascia to allow movement to occur easier and with less pain. It's often a necessary part of a full treatment plan to get people moving optimally.

Cupping
Cupping is a soft tissue technique that uses suction to lift the skin and layers up to promote blood flow, tissue mobility, and healing in the area. Cupping can also be applied during movement to help change tissue tightness that might be limiting a motion.

Corrective Exercise
All hands-on techniques need corrective exercises that are individualized to each client and their needs. Exercises may include strengthening, stabilization, self-mobilization and stretching to address all the limiting factors each client has.
